The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the day to day clinical operation of our nine locations and will provide guidance and support to our Nurse Managers, Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants.
Some primary responsibilities will include, overseeing the staffing model and metrics for the department, conducting employee performance appraisals for all direct reports and ensuring that our clinical processes are in compliance with all regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, Medicare and OSHA.
This position will be instrumental in the implementation of new clinical protocols, will provide direction and clinical expertise needed to continue to successfully participate in alternative payment programs, such as the Oncology Care Model, and will ensure the department and organization is driven to provide high quality patient centered care.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice. Strong oncology protocol and regimen knowledge. A thorough knowledge of Medicare and OSHA guidelines and other regulatory agencies. Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly. A minimum of three years’ experience working in a nursing management position is required. Previous experience working in an oncology setting is preferred. An understanding of alternative payment models, including the oncology care model and MACRA will be helpful.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a Masters degree.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position is part of a team that is responsible for collecting and monitoring patient accounts that are assigned by insurance. Duties may include phone calls being made to the insurance company and/or patient to resolve denials. Incoming customer service calls will be included in daily responsibilities. The Accounts Receivable Team should strive for expertise in insurance reimbursement and establish open communication with third party payers. This position may require specialization in areas such as drug reimbursement, refunds, Federal Billing Compliance, etc.
Two years medical billing experience required. Understanding of medical billing process and insurance reimbursement, including knowledge of explanations of benefits required. Must be able to work independently or within a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills a must.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: High school graduation or GED, with two years of experience.
The Director of Pharmacy Services will oversee the management of our infused and oral oncology medications in our 10 outpatient offices. Assure appropriate mixing and dispensing of chemotherapy agents. Acts as a consultant to staff on issues involving medication administration and pharmaceutical care. Manages the group’s drug purchasing, inventory and formulary, taking into consideration each agents efficacy, potential toxicity, pharmacoeconomic impact, as well as promoting positive patient outcomes.
Licensed pharmacist and a collaborative team player, able to work with a multi-disciplinary team of other health care professionals. Working knowledge of chemotherapy regimens, clinical guidelines, preparation and administration of chemotherapy and the ability to gather, evaluate and disseminate drug information. In addition to a strong clinical background, we are looking for a person with strong business management, organizational and communication skills.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Masters Degree, PharmD preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years of professional pharmacy experience including IV admixture and computerized record keeping. Management/Operations experience preferred.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position is part of a team that is responsible for auditing and releasing charges that come across the interface. They are responsible for and adhering to correct and compliant coding. They should strive to produce clean claims by working with the physicians and nursing staff.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Two years medical billing experience required. Experience in coding and medical billing, data entry, and 10-key usage. Ability to work independently or within a team. Excellent communication skills. Must be a certified ICD-10 coder.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: High school graduation or GED, ICD-10 Certification, and two years of experience required.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Duties include receiving and tracking Investigational Medication. Completing data entry as well as processing and shipping of clinical laboratory specimens and kits. Will assist study staff as requested.
The incumbent must possess excellent organizational skills and be very detail oriented. Excellent oral and written communications skills required with the ability to function independently. Individual will be required to travel to additional sites when needed.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: High level of computer literacy in Excel and Microsoft Word a must.
Candidate must have one or more of the following qualifications: Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician; with at least one year experience, will consider recent Bachelors degree graduate looking for a career in clinical research.

Graduate from an accredited nursing school and possession of a Utah State Registered Nursing License. BLS certification.
One year of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.
